of putting the carts together.

I have carefully inspected the carts and gear

and passed all as being up to sample.

I have to request however, that you will in-

spect the goods when taking delivery, and cause any

damage that may have been sustained in carriage to

be made good, or assessed for insurance indemnity.

When all have been delivered to your satisfaction

please give a certificate to that effect as part of

the payments to both contractors depend on the pro-

duction of such certificate.

I append as Invoice a statement showing cost of

this supply, which completes the order given by the

Governor of Hongkong.
